Basics of Driving standards in UK
Driving in UK is left hand side with usually driving wheel in the right side of your car.

It's safer to drive to the left side of the lane as speeding vehicles would go in the right side lane.

When coming to an intersection, most of the time there will be a dotted line and an inverted triangle across the road where you're expected to stop before turning to left or right.

Don't forget to move to the right side of the lane in multiple lane roads when you are turning to the right. Remember, your vehicle must cross traffic to make a right turn.

Round About

Driving in Round about is clockwise direction that is you should go round the round about if you would like to take a U turn. If there is no signal in the round about you should give way to oncoming vehicles.

Stopping in the Road side

While parking and stopping your car in the road make sure whether you are allowed to park or stop there.

If there is double yellow line near the pavement of the road you should not stop your car any time of the day. If there is single yellow line you should not stop during the restricted hrs of the day usually 9 Am to 9 Pm.

If there is a circular sign board with X cross it means you should not stop in that place or in that road.
